Data Collection (Google Play)
Hopscotch Horror distributed via Google Play Store collects the following data to deliver a seamless gaming experience, improve performance, and provide cloud features:
- Google Play Games Services: Public profile information (display name, avatar), achievements, and leaderboard scores. All data is handled according to Google's API terms.
- Cloud Saves: Game progress, collected bones, unlocked skins, level completion data, and high scores stored securely via Google Play Cloud Saves. This allows you to sync across multiple Android devices.
- Device Information: Android OS version, device model, language preference, and advertising ID (if you consent to personalized ads). You may reset or opt out of ad personalization in your Google account settings.
- In-App Purchases: Transaction data is processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. We receive only purchase confirmation (product ID, timestamp) and do not access payment card details.
Analytics & Performance Monitoring
We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Crashlytics to analyze game usage, track crash reports, and improve stability. Collected data includes:
- Session duration, level progression, hop accuracy metrics, and feature usage patterns.
- Device performance metrics and error logs.
- Aggregated demographic insights (region, language).
All analytics data is anonymized and used solely to enhance gameplay experience.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only in these cases:
- Google LLC: For cloud saves, leaderboards, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Ad Partners (optional): If you grant permission, limited ad ID is shared with Google AdMob to show relevant ads. You can revoke consent anytime via device settings.
- Legal Compliance: When required by applicable law or to protect our rights.
Your Rights & Control
As a Google Play user, you have the right to:
- Delete your game data by contacting zhendiankeji@gmail.com with your account details.
- Reset or remove Google Play Games data via the Google Play Games app on your device.
- Opt out of personalized advertising through Android Settings → Google → Ads.

Policy Updates
This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes in data handling practices or legal obligations. We will notify users via in-game notice or email (if subscribed). Continued use of the game after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Data Collection (iOS / App Store)
Hopscotch Horror distributed via Apple App Store strictly adheres to Apple's App Tracking Transparency and privacy framework. We collect minimal data:
- Game Center: Your Game Center nickname, profile identifier, achievements, and leaderboard scores (only with your consent). All Game Center data is managed by Apple and visible only to you and other players as per Game Center settings.
- iCloud Sync (Optional): Saved game progress, bone currency, unlocked skins, level completion, and high scores are stored in your private iCloud container. This data is end-to-end encrypted and accessible only to you across your Apple devices.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We request permission to track your activity across apps and websites via IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers). You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy → Tracking.
- Purchase Data: In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We receive only a receipt confirmation and product details, never your payment information.
Analytics & Diagnostics
We use Apple App Store Connect Analytics and optional telemetry tools to understand app performance:
- Crash reports, device type, iOS version, and general usage patterns (non-personally identifiable).
- Aggregated data on level completion, hop accuracy, and feature engagement to improve game balance.
No personal identifiers are linked to analytics unless you explicitly consent to tracking.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
Your privacy is respected — we never sell or rent your data. Information may be shared only in the following contexts:
- Apple Inc.: For Game Center, iCloud synchronization, and App Store analytics.
- Ad Networks (if ATT permission granted): Limited ad ID (IDFA) may be used to serve non-personalized or personalized ads. You can disable tracking entirely.
- Legal obligations: If required by law or to protect the safety of users.
Your Rights & Controls (iOS)
Apple users have granular control over their data:
- Reset Game Center Data: Go to Settings → Game Center → Reset Game Center account or delete progress per game.
- iCloud Save Deletion: You can delete app data stored in iCloud via Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → Hopscotch Horror → Delete Data.
- Opt Out of Tracking: Enable "Ask App Not to Track" in iOS Settings to prevent IDFA sharing.
- Email Request: Contact zhendiankeji@gmail.com for additional deletion or inquiry regarding personal data.
In compliance with Apple guidelines, we provide a clear privacy choice at first launch. Your preferences are stored and respected.
